Next Meeting: Monday 25th 4:30 – 5:30pm, room 307 John Medley

Hi all,

Our next meeting will be held at 4:30pm in room 307 of the John Medley Building (UoM) on the 25th of March (next Monday). We have decided to read from Richard Bell: Lessons on Etiquette and Manners. I have picked the following articles:

Perkins, Hetti. Interview with Richard Bell p.15 – 18

Browning, Daniel.  Decolonising Now: The Activism of Richard Bell p. 23 – 26

Bell, Richard. Psalm Singing (Australian Art: It’s an Aboriginal Thing) p.81 – 95

The book is available to purchase as part of the exhibition currently being shown at MUMA until April 13th. It costs $20 (or $10 for students). If you are unable to pick up a copy, please send me an email before Monday.

Hope to see you there,

Bell is a member of the Kamilaroi, Kooma, Jiman and Gurang Gurang communities; and lives and works in Brisbane.
